NY Cocoa Falls Back on Long Liquidation

May ICE NY cocoa (CCK23) on Friday closed down -18 (-0.60%), and May ICE London cocoa #7 (CAK23) closed up +12 (+0.55%).

Cocoa prices Friday settled mixed, with London cocoa posting a 6-1/3 year high.  NY cocoa Friday fell back from a 2-1/3 year nearest-futures high as a stronger dollar sparked long liquidation.  Cocoa prices have rallied sharply over the past month on signs of improved cocoa demand amid tighter supplies.
