Nvidia's AI chip dominance could come under pressure from a new semiconductor startup founded recently by three 24-year-old Harvard dropouts.
The Big Short's Michael Burry highlighted in a Tuesday X post that the startup had claimed that it took 44 days after getting its test chips back from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing to set them up and running inference workloads, which usually takes at least six months. 'This is serious competition for Nvidia,' he wrote.
