At a panel discussion — ‘Women in STEM: Growth, Opportunities and challenges’ — organised by the University of Melbourne in the city on Thursday, experts said despite challenges such as unwelcoming attitudes and lack of jobs for women in the arena, the number of women in leadership roles in STEM is increasing.
