Nuh violence: Court gives bail to Monu Manesar in hate speech case

CHANDIGARH: A court in Haryana's Nuh on Monday gave regular bail to Monu Manesar aka Mohit Yadav in a case of hate speech registered against him on the viral video ahead of Braj mandal yatra in the district.

Monu Manesar had moved bail on October 10, which came up for hearing in the court of Amit Verma Judicial magistrate first class.

The detailed orders are yet to be uploaded but court allowed Monu's bail.

Though Monu had got bail in the Nuh case but he will not be released as he is in custody for a murder attempt and Arms Act case registered in Ferozpur Jhirka police station.

It may be recalled that that cow vigilante Monu Manesar had shot in news following the murder of Nasir and Janaid in Bharatpur in February this year.

He was on the run from Rajasthan police and just ahead of Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh, his videos while daring the particular community had gone viral which is believed to have fuelled the tension between two communities violence in Nuh on July 31, resulting in death of four persons and injuries to many.
