A woman has been charged following the death of a female family member after an argument turned into a violent physical fight in the Northern Territory.
Police found the unresponsive woman late on Tuesday near the town of Katherine, 320km south of Darwin.
Paramedics attempted CPR but she died at the scene.
"The 33-year-old had an existing medical condition, which appears to have been a contributing factor in her death," Detective Acting Superintendent Paul Lawson said on Thursday.
A 26-year-old woman has been charged with violent conduct causing death.
Police will allege the women engaged in an argument that turned physical.
The 26-year-old woman has been remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court on Monday.
