Disgusting toilets and overcrowded, demountable classrooms are pushing more parents to send their children to private schools, an inquiry into NSW public school infrastructure has been told.
A parliamentary upper house education committee is examining the planning and delivery of school infrastructure, following reports from the Auditor-General Margaret Crawford last year.
