NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard has tested positive for COVID-19.
The 70-year-old parliamentary veteran was advised on Tuesday night that a work colleague had tested positive via a rapid antigen test.
Mr Hazzard had no symptoms and returned a negative RAT.
A subsequent PCR test returned a positive result.
He is now in isolation and developed minor flu-like symptoms overnight.
His health is being managed via the NSW Health virtual hospital and the Northern Sydney Public Health Unit.
