NSW:'Happy New Year': TV host hit with mammoth court delay

The former presenter of hit TV show Ready Steady Cook faces a lengthy wait to fight sexual touching allegations after a nine-month delay in his trial starting.

Peter Everett has pleaded not guilty to sexual touching without consent and was due to face a local court hearing on Tuesday, but an administrative blunder resulted in the case being delayed until March 2027.

That's almost two years after the alleged incident in July 2025.
