NRL 'really comfortable' with unprecedented finals draw

NRL chief Andrew Abdo has defended the unprecedented fixturing decision that will give one of the grand finalists an extra two days to prepare for the biggest game of the season.

For the first time since the NRL adopted a two-preliminary-finals system in 1995, this year's games will be played on a Friday and Sunday rather than on consecutive days.
