Premier League legend Alan Shearer says Liverpool are nowhere near the levels they should be this season, while Manchester City remain the team to beat.
The Reds sit eighth in the table, albeit with a game in hand, with just nine points from a possible 18 so far. They've won just two of their league games so far, against Bournemouth and Newcastle United.
Draws have come against Fulham, Crystal Palace and Everton and they were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United last month. In the Champions League, they currently sit second in group A after they were beaten by Napoli in their opening game, but managed a tight 2-1 victory over Ajax last week.
