NEW DELHI: World's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic of Serbia suffered a 4-6, 6-7 (6/8) shock defeat at the hands of 70th-ranked Dusan Lajovic as his campaign ended in the quarter-finals of Banja Luka Open in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday.

The straight-set defeat further raised doubts over Djokovic's form ahead of next month's clay-court Grand Slam French Open.
