Notts County had to settle for a point despite a late siege against 10-man Halifax Town at Meadow Lane.
The Magpies had fallen behind to Aaron Martin's strike before Eli Sam rattled the post for head coach Ian Burchnall's side.
Jack Senior then saw red for the visitors following a second yellow card as Sam then equalised with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box.
Notts dominated after the break and Kyle Cameron came close to a winner when his deft lob hit the crossbar in stoppage time.
Leigh Curtis brings you his player ratings from a game of high drama at Meadow Lane.
Vitezslav Jaros: Will review the Halifax goal and will probably rue the decision to come rushing off his line when he was beaten to the ball by Aaron Martin. 6
Jayden Richardson: The on-loan Nottingham Forest defender, in front of Reds under-23s head coach Andy Reid, had an excellent game. Was so bright in the attack. 8
Richard Brindley: One of the most consistent performers of the season and this was another example of his qualities as a centre-back. So comfortable on the ball and defended with a sharp mind. 7
Kyle Cameron: The skipper continues to showcase why he has been such a good signing. Very calm in possession and is very intelligent in the way he defends. Never panics. 7
Adam Chicksen: Lashed a shot just wide of the post in the first half in what was an industrious display. Had a tough opponent in Jamie Allen but kept him quiet. Superb going forward. 8
Matty Palmer: A real unsung hero of this Notts team but oozes so much quality. At the heart of so many good attacks and is Notts' very own metronome. 8
Ed Francis: A bit wasteful from a couple of crossing positions which was a surprise given he possesses a lovely left foot. But had a good game alongside Palmer. 7
Eli Sam: Has burst into life at a key time of the season. It has taken a while but playing wide left seems to be a position that suits him perfectly. Scored an absolute peach. Sensational. 8
Ruben Rodrigues: Referee missed a couple of challenges on the Portuguese attacker that should have been free-kick, but purred on occasions. Lovely to watch at times. 7
Callum Roberts: Had the Halifax defence on strings at times as he showed dancing feet whether it was getting to the byline or cutting inside. 8
Kyle Wootton: Played ever so well with his back to goal. Not an easy job when you are playing on your own up front but was excellent. 7
Subs:
Zak Brunt (Francis 70): Night was cut short due to concussion. 5
Kairo Mitchell (Sam 86): Had a header that flashed wide of the post. 6
Frank Vincent (Brunt 86): Looked lively when he came on. 6
