Notts County have closed the gap to the promotion play-off places following their 6-1 win over Barnet on Tuesday evening in the National League.
Callum Roberts, Ruben Rodrigues, Kyle Wootton, Matt Palmer were all on the scoresheet, with Elisha Sam netting twice.
The Magpies returned to winning ways following previous defeats to Bromley and Grimsby Town and skipper Kyle Cameron highlighted the importance of responding well.
"It's good to return to winning ways and return to winning ways in fashion," he said.
"Obviously as a defender I'm a bit disappointed not to get a clean sheet that has sort of been missing in the last few weeks.
"We've scored six goals and six brilliant goals, it's good to get three points on the board."
The 25-year-old registered his fifth assist of the campaign after Elisha Sam netted the third.
Yes, happy with that. I think it's five assist this season as well so happy with that," Cameron added. "It's always good to chip in when I can and it's been a while since I scored so hopefully we get that on Saturday.
"He's [Sam] over the moon. He's worked so hard every day all through the season, he's kept his head down and never let his standard drop, I'm really happy for him to come on and score those two goals."
With five different players on the scoresheet, Cameron added: "It's good to see everybody chipping in."
Matt Palmer scored his first for Ian Burchnall's side after completing a move to Meadow Lane in the summer.
"Matty [Palmer] getting off his zero goals tally so good to see him one and all the forward players are chipping in and we look like we are back in fine form now," Cameron continued before he went on to praise the midfielder.

"I think if everyone sees him [Palmer], everyone who have a footballing brain can see what he does without him getting all the plaudits all the time.
"He's a brilliant footballer, he's got a range of passing, he helps break counterattacks, he's got everything to be a player at a higher level and obviously you can see why he's played in the Championship so it's great to have him here, he's doing really well and I'm happy for him to get that goal."
With 19 games left to play until the end of the season, Cameron believes the team and in the right track in their chase to a promotion play-off spot.
"It's never over, there's a lot of games left to play, just keep the faith.
"I think all the results have gone our way tonight, Bromley have been beaten, Grimsby have drew and I think Chesterfield and Stockport have drew so we've gained points tonight and we've still got games in hand so we're in a good position.
"We're coming under the radar a little bit and if we can string another six wins together like we had previously these 10 days then we'll be right amongst it."
