Notts County boss Luke Williams revealed that the entirety of his squad took full responsibility for their FA Cup exit to Coalville Town ahead of going four points clear at the top of the National League table on Friday evening.
The Magpies returned to winning ways and continued their impressive form in the league producing a comfortable display at Meadow Lane, beating Maidstone 3-0 to tighten their grip at the summit of the table.
In that game last weekend, the Notts boss made eight changes to the side that beat Woking but reverted back to the same personnel for their encounter against the Stones.

And speaking after the game, Williams revealed that despite a number of his first-team squad not involved in the defeat against the Ravens, all of the players in his squad felt responsible for the defeat and were determined to make amends on Friday evening.
"The most important thing about the entire thing is the entire group felt responsible for the result against Coalville," explained Williams.
"It wasn't like the boys were turning their nose up at the opposition, it was the opposite and everyone felt really responsible, and everyone felt responsible for making this performance tonight.
"We lost as a squad, and we won tonight as a squad."
Focus now shifts to their trip to Wealdstone on Tuesday evening, with the added comfort of an extra day of recovery ahead of another testing trip for the Magpies.
And whilst many would think the Notts players would have deserved a Saturday off for the first time in a while, Williams revealed he would not be giving his players the weekend off despite the victory.
"I think that the players certainly won't have the weekend off, but it's a strange feeling not having a game at 3pm on a Saturday.
"I may possibly go to a game, but it all depends on whether we get time together after the training session as that is the most important thing.
"Some of the players didn't play too many minutes and they need to train a little bit more, and the guys who played need to recover and review the game and not taking anything for granted."
