The Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue has explained their presence in one of the city's beauty spots. A large number of firefighters and rescuers were seen at the Wollaton Hall and its surroundings.
But the rescue service has now explained their presence as part of an operation. In a post shared on social media on Saturday, February 11, they shared pictures from the operation alongside caption explaining why they attended.
They said they visited the site to test their "water relay abilities from the lake to the hall". Pictures of the operation show a large fire cordon near the lake at the Wollaton Hall.
