Temperatures in Nottingham are expected to reach as high as 18C as the city basks in sunshine. According to BBC Weather forecasts, Nottingham will experience high temperatures in the coming week. Temperatures are set to reach 18C on Wednesday, March 23 and Thursday, March 24. Forecasters also say temperatures should peak at 17C in the city on the Tuesday and Friday.
The Mirror reports that this would mean the UK would enjoy temperatures higher than Malaga on the Costa del Sol where there is also rain expected over the next week. Temperatures are expected to rise gradually from the start of the week, where temperatures go from highs of 12C on Monday to as high as 18C by the end of the week.
Met Office forecaster Clare Nasir said: "Through the day on Friday plenty of blue sky and plenty of sunshine. The sunshine could turn hazy in the west of Scotland as we see more high cloud there and certainly quite a breeze across the Western Isles. Even so everywhere remains dry through the afternoon and that will really help temperatures up very nicely as we head through the middle part of the day. So temperatures coming in around 13C or 14C in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
"However we could see values peaking around 16C or 18C across mid-Wales, down towards the south east of England. That’s the picture on Friday, a bright end to the working week.”
