The Nottingham YouTuber LadBaby has shared a helpful "hack" that he says could help many families during the current cost of living crisis. Mark Doyle, who rose to fame on YouTube alongside his wife Roxanne for his helpful tips on being a dad, continues to share pieces of advice on a wide range of topics.
In one of his most recent uploads, LadBaby has now shared a tip which he says could help those struggling with rising electricity bills. He begins the video by saying that everyone is "feeling the pinch", but says that he has done some research to come up with a helpful hack.
He then goes to Home Bargains and buys motion-sensored lights for just £15. After putting them up in his kitchen, he declared the purchase to be a success.

He says: "'If we don't move, it'll go off. But then when we walk into the kitchen at night, it'll come on. We don't have to turn the lights on.''
He later hails the fact that the devices are solar-powered by saying: "This lights up the kitchen completely free. It's charging up from the sun through the day. It was 15 quid, that's all you need. You don't even have to buy one for every room, just buy one and take it to whichever room you want."
LadBaby lives in Nottingham, where he is often seen out and about with Roxanne and their two sons, Phoenix Forest and Kobe Notts. In 2016, while Roxanne was pregnant with their first child, Mark decided to create a blog which he called LadBaby. The premise of the channel was to show how Mark went from being a lad to a dad and making funny YouTube videos and blogs along the way.
The Christmas star and self-named 'sausage roll king' shot to national fame after creating novelty songs with his wife. Now, the pair hold the all time record for the most consecutive UK Christmas number 1s.
Their first hit dates back to 2018 with We Built This City. LadBaby reached number one the following two years with I Love Sausage Rolls and in 2020 with Don’t Stop Me Eatin'.
Recently, Mark and Roxanne took over a McDonald's drive-thru as part of a promotional campaign with the company. He was also tipped to appear on this year's upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Mark has still been posting on his various social media accounts in recent days, with a video on Instagram posted on Thursday, September 1, showing wife Roxanne dancing in their kitchen. The couple are estimated to be worth over £1 million.
