A jobs fair in Nottingham city centre will have more than 50 local employers offering more than 1,500 vacancies. The first big jobs fair since the Covid pandemic will be held in Old Market Square on Monday (March 28), where training and employment support will be offered, too.
Employers from retail, public transport, healthcare, emergency services, hospitality, local government, and marketing will all be there. It's open to all ages between 10am and 2pm, and visitors will be able to apply for jobs there and then.
People can also get help with job searches, CV writing and completing job applications with recruiting companies. There is no need to book in advance. Nottingham City Council is running the event.
