Steve Cooper must decide whether to stick or twist when it comes to picking his Nottingham Forest team to face Stoke City this weekend.
Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over fellow promotion-chasers Blackburn Rovers moved the Reds into the Championship play-off spots for the first time this season.
And they will be looking to follow that up with another victory when they host Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
Cooper’s big conundrum centres on whether to recall winger Philip Zinckernagel to the line-up at the City Ground - and who should miss out if he does.
The Watford loanee was rested in midweek, with Cooper saying he had felt the effects of a tireless display against Leicester City in the FA Cup.
Jack Colback came in in Zinckernagel’s place at Ewood Park, while James Garner was moved into a more advanced role.
It worked to good effect. Garner opened the scoring in the first half, showing terrific composure to finish off the great play by Keinan Davis.
Sam Surridge then made an impact when he came off the bench, winning the penalty from which Brennan Johnson scored in stoppage time to cap the victory.
Surridge will no doubt be hoping to push for a starting spot - following two substitute appearances - against the club from which he joined the Reds on deadline day.
A call may also need to be made on defender Joe Worrall.
Cooper said the centre-back would have to be managed carefully in a three-game week, after he made an earlier than expected comeback from broken ribs against the Foxes.
Forest have won nine of their last 12 matches in all competitions. They are sixth in the league table, with the Potters 11th, four points below them.
