City Ground will host its first Premier League game since 1999, with Nottingham Forest set to play West Ham in their second Premier League game.
Forest fell to defeat at Newcastle in the opening day of the season, after Steve Cooper's men struggled to respond to goals from Fabian Schär and Callum Wilson. The Reds have however, been very active in the transfer window as they are keen to excel in the English top-flight.
Meanwhile, the Hammers also fell to defeat in the hands of reigning champions Manchester City at the London Stadium. Erling Haaland scored his first two goals of the season in a 2-0 victory over the London club.
