Manchester City will be looking to maintain the pressure on the Premier League title race with a win at the City Ground when they face Nottingham Forest. The Citizens go into the weekend top of the table on goal difference after beating title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates last weekend but will need to keep the momentum as the Gunners have a game-in-hand over Pep Guardiola's side.
Guardiola's side are the convincing favourites ahead of this match with bookies Betfred pricing them at 1/3 while Forest are 8/1 longshots and a draw is 4/1. City thrashed the Premier League newcomers 6-0 in the reverse fixture and a repeat of that scoreline is 66/1 too.
For Steve Cooper's side, things have been going well recently despite early indications this season suggesting they were certain for relegation. It has not been easy for Forest as they have had to recruit a whole new squad to compete in the top-tier and the added pressures of an injury crisis with eight players sidelined has made things a little bit trickier for the Forest head coach.
