Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to reports that the club have made a major breakthrough in their pursuit of summer transfer target Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Wolves man has emerged as a key transfer target for Steve Cooper throughout the summer, with Forest seeing bids turned down by the Premier League rivals. The 22-year-old impressed last season during a loan spell with Championship side Sheffield United, where he came up against the Reds in the play-off semi-final.
Cooper has worked with Gibbs-White on two previous occasions - with England youth teams and during a loan spell with Swansea City. It now seems that the two will be reunited at the City Ground.

It is reported that Forest have agreed a fee with Wolves, totalling £44.5 million with add-ons. The Reds are expected to pay an initial fee of around £35 million.
The midfielder is now set to undergo a medical with the club this afternoon before completing his move. The development has caused a lot of talk on social media, over both the price and implications for other transfers at the club.
Forest have reportedly reached a "total agreement" with Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar, although are yet to agree a fee with the French side. Supporters think that a move for the Frenchman will now be abandoned due to Gibbs-White’s impending arrival.
Here’s what just some had to say.
Steve Gibson : Thirty-five million pounds. Think it’s a bit pricey but he’s been Cooper’s number 1 priority, so if anyone will be motivated to make it seem like a bargain, it would be him.
Dan Turner : This time last year we'd lost our first 3 games under Hughton and things were looking dire, hard to believe what has happened in the last year at times.
Mikey Hollingsworth : I think our squad is sorted now. Given MGW can play CF, CAM or CM, covers all bases. Incredible window.
Caz : £35m+ does seem a huge amount of money but this kid has the potential to push on and be an absolute star. Cooper has seen that and no doubt believes he'll get the best out of him. Marinakis delivering for the manager yet again.
Johnty : Love the ambition being shown. True backing. A little worried if we go down though spending 150 odd million.
Rupert M : With #MGW set to sign for #NFFC do you think we were ever properly ‘in’ for #Aouar or do we think he still potentially comes?
Curty : That’s Aouar not happening then.
Dave Holmes : He was quite clearly the number one target and fair play to the club and the owners for going all out to get him. This might explain why the Aouar noise has quietened down recently if the Wolves stance on Gibbs-White had changed. Massive signing for #NFFC
DZYB #9 : So I guess that means Aouar isn’t happening now. Personally I think spending 35m on MGW when he hasn’t done anything at this level is a big risk but I trust the club.
KM : Honestly, we don’t need Aouar now. In fact, I don’t think we need anymore players.
Paul Elliott : Looks like the Aouar signing was probably close but with Wolves signing Nunes there was always some form of agreement there in the background for that too. & it was stalled because MGW became available.
