Nottingham Forest are preparing a bid for Besiktas defender Romain Saiss in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The 33-year-old looks set to leave the Turkish club this summer, with Forest interested in securing his services for a low fee. Besiktas are said to be considering letting him go, though they will command a fee that matches their value of him.
Saiss, who made over 100 Premier League appearances for Wolves, could be available for as little as €5million (£4.35m), according to Skorer TV. It's said that he is "warm to" a return to the top flight of English football, and that Besiktas would not accept anything less than that fee.

He would prove to be a shrewd piece of business for Forest, bringing Premier League experience at a relatively low cost, despite his age. He played for Morocco at the World Cup in late 2022 as his nation shocked the world to reach the semi-finals of the tournament in Qatar.
The former Wolves centre-back, who can also play in midfield, has been linked with Forest a number of times before, most recently in the January transfer window. The report in Turkey says they made "great efforts" to sign him and reached an agreement over personal terms, but the move fell through.
Forest already have Joe Worrall, Felipe, Scott McKenna, Moussa Niakhaté, Willy Boly and Steve Cook under contract at centre-back. That could make Saiss a back-up option, unless players move on over the summer.
