Nottingham Forest have reportedly increased their offer for Atalanta midfielder Remo Freuler, according to reports.
The Reds had submitted a £6 million bid for the midfielder earlier this week, but have now increased it to £8m (€10m) in bid to strike a deal. Forest have been credited with an interest to sign the midfielder, as Steve Cooper identified him as 'one of the targets on the list' this summer.
According to Tutto Mercato, the Reds are 'one-step' away from securing the 30-year-old's signature. It also reads that 'after six years, a new adventure in England' is set to begin for the Swiss.

Cooper is looking to bolster his options in midfield alongside Ryan Yates, Orel Mangala, Lewis O'Brien and Jack Colback. While Brian Ojeda has joined MLS side Real Salt Lake on loan.
The Swiss international had once been described as 'Europe's most underrated player' by the BBC. During his six-year spell in Italy, he went on to make 260 appearances since his switch from Swiss outfit Luzern.
