Nottingham Forest have been linked with a transfer deadline day swoop for French striker Ludovic Ajorque.
The Reds have made an 'offer' to Strasbourg for the player, according to journalist Ignazio Genuardi. They claim that Forest want to bring the player on loan with an option to buy.
Ajorque has been a consistent goalscorer for Strasbourg in Ligue 1, scoring 45 goals in 122 league appearances over the past four seasons. He joined Le Racing from Clermont in 2018 and has reached double digits in each of the last two campaigns.

The Reunion native is a tall forward who can also create chances for players around him. He has provided 12 assists in the past two seasons.
It would seem that Steve Cooper is still keen to bolster his options up despite bringing in a number of new attackers. Emmanuel Dennis, Taiwo Awoniyi, Morgan Gibbs-White and Ui-jo Hwang have all been added to the forward line this summer.
It's not the only French deal Forest are looking to complete today as the club seek to do a deal with Rennes for defender Löic Badé. Reports in France suggest that the City Ground is the 'most likely' destination for the centre-back, with Genuardi reporting that a bid has also been put forward for him.
If Forest were to get both deals over the line before the 11pm deadline tonight, that would take their number of incomings this summer to 20.
