Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dean Henderson is "expected to push" for a permanent transfer this summer.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Forest from Manchester United, where he was kept out of the team by David de Gea before seeking regular football at the City Ground.
With de Gea out of contract at Old Trafford this summer, Henderson will return to his parent club for pre-season, but is expected to look for a move away from Man United on a permanent basis. That's regardless of what happens to his Spanish teammate.

Our sister title Manchester Evening News report: "David de Gea is out of contract, of course, but he's set to sign a new deal. Dean Henderson will report for pre-season at Carrington this summer and he's expected to push for a permanent exit for the sake of regular starts in the Premier League.
"It's possible United could persist with both De Gea and Henderson as their goalkeepers next season, but that's already been proven to be an unhealthy dynamic, as the latter wants to be No.1 and Ole Gunnar Solskajer was guilty of mismanaging him."
It is unclear where Dean Henderson would go this summer, though Forest would retain an interest should they stay in the Premier League. They would be likely to face a number of other suitors from the top flight in England, but he could also attract attention from Europe.
