Nottingham Forest sent 'ridiculous' message after latest injury update

Nottingham Forest supporters have responded to the news that striker Chris Wood is out for the rest of the season with injury.

The £15million January signing, sustained a thigh thigh problem while on international duty with New Zealand and has been added to Forest's ever-growing injury list. Having made just seven appearances for Steve Cooper, he will miss the remaining 11 games of the season.

There are also doubts over whether Serge Aurier, Andre Ayew, Gustavo Scarpa and Brennan Johnson will feature against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

Here is what the Forest faithful have said on social media...

E-Nottingham Forest: "£15m... such a bad decision."

TheyCallHimR: "You cannot make it up. So many injuries, however, this one may pave the way fro Sammy to actually get some game time when needed."

James: "Wood and Ayew injured means Surridge or Taiwo starting. We might just pull this survival thing off."

Bradley: "Money well spent."

Jordan Urquhart: "This is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen."

James: "Begging Sam Surridge gets in the Team until Awonyi is in recovered and in form."

Ady Hewitt: "You have to say so far all of the January recruits have been a disaster. Either injured, not picked or running on empty. Seasons pivot on actions and I fear that this is one of them that will define this one."

Nathan: "Super 15m well spent."

AntSissons: "Haha, what a magnificent signing he's been."

Ash Robbo: "Can we send him back to Newcastle now?"

Martyn Scott: "Well, that was a good buy!"

Lango: "Complete and utter shambles of a signing."

JangoMango: "NUFC laughing all the way to the bank."

Paul: "Ridiculous decision to buy him."
