Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to the latest developments over the future of summer target Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Reds have been heavily linked with the Wolves man since gaining promotion back to the Premier League in May, but they are not alone in their interest. Fellow Premier League sides Everton and Crystal Palace are also said to be trying the sign the player this summer.
It seems that the Toffees have made the first move, with the Telegraph reporting that Frank Lampard’s side have seen a bid of more than £20 million turned down by Wolves. It is added that Wolves are looking for a fee of £30 million, including add-ons for the 22-year-old.

Both Forest and Crystal Palace are now said to be ‘weighing up’ an offer for the player in an attempt to tempt Wolves to cash in this summer. Gibbs-White has two-years remaining on his contract at Molineux, with Wolves keen to get him tied down to a new deal, but he is yet to put pen to paper on fresh terms.
Following the reports over his future, Forest fans gave their verdict on if they would like to see the club pay £30 million for the player. Here’s what just some had to say.
Scott Lee Helmkay : £30 million is a lot for MGW, but, I get it from wolves perspective. They do however run the risk of the contract situation & losing him, I’d like to think we’d throw a bid in, but that asking price is steep. They clearly want to convince him to stay at Wolves. #nffc
ReissNFFC : I think a 25m bid for MGW would probably get him personally & be top end what I think we might pay. End of the day Wolves know a few teams want him so gonna add a premium as would we with our players. Would like him, think he’d fit our system well & develop with us #NFFC
Forest forever : £30million for MGW is ridiculous, no way #nffc will be coughing up that kind of dollar on a player who’s unproven in the premiership.
(P)earce : I love MGW and would 100% have him, but £30m is a massive risk. Personally I think that we can get better currently for cheaper.
Sam : MGW for £30m is a no brainier for me. I know we’ve not got infinite money but the case scenario is we get our money back. He’ll be worth £50m if we stay up. #NFFC
NFFCGlory : £30m for MGW? Seriously? I think he’s a great player but we could get 2 quality players for the same money. Move on I say. #nffc
Cam : £25M + additions wasn’t enough for MGW.
Hopefully #NFFC have got other targets in mind if this is the price tags Wolves don’t deem enough…
Jax : Wolves are apparently desperate for cash but want 75 million for Neves and 30 million minimum for Gibbs-White. I hope they're not too desperate because NO ONE is paying that.
#NFFC need a new CAM target. Not capped for ENG seniors and not PL established so 30 million is a NO NO.
Josh : Morgan Gibbs-White is not worth 30 million pounds. Was unreal last year, it'd be a massive risk #Nffc
