Nottingham Forest have reportedly sent a 'formal proposal' to former Chelsea and Arsenal forward Willian.
The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Premier League rivals Fulham upon the expiry of his contract last season. He featured 25 times in the Premier League for them but is now on the search for a new club.
He is said to have an offer on the table from Fulham, while clubs in Saudi Arabia are also "approaching" him over a potential move to the Middle East. That's according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has broken the news of interest from Forest.
The reporter tweeted: "Understand Nottingham Forest and also Fulham have sent formal proposals to Willian as he’s currently free agent. Saudi clubs are also approaching the Brazilian winger, one more option. Decision expected in the next days."

Willian is a highly experienced Premier League player. In seven years at Chelsea between 2013 and 2020, he made 339 appearances for the club, scoring 63 goals in all competitions. He then played 37 games in one season at Arsenal.
After a spell back in his native Brazil with Corinthians, he returned to the Premier League with Fulham last summer. With plenty of options on the table, it is unclear if the winger will want to extend his stay in the top flight of English football.
Forest have not been shy in signing Brazilian players over the past year. Defender Felipe is joined by midfielders Gustavo Scarpa and Danilo in the current squad, while left-back Renan Lodi was on loan last season.
