Nottingham Forest's next six fixtures compared to Leicester City, West Ham and Wolves

Nottingham Forest go into the first international break of the Premier League season in a relegation place.

After a relatively positive start to the campaign, in which Forest picked up four points from their opening three games, results have tailed off in the last few weeks. Back-to-back 3-2 losses against fellow promoted sides have left Steve Cooper’s men winless since the first home game of the season.

Despite a busy transfer window where a number of players came and went, Forest’s first aim this season will be to stay in the league for the 2023/24 campaign. To do that, they must pick up some points in what could be six big games in the context of their season.

As ever in football seasons, as the table starts to take shape, it may not be only Forest’s results that have a say on where they finish in the league at the end of the season. Reds fans therefore may be keeping an eye on goings on at other stadiums as the season goes on.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the fixtures to come for Forest and four of the other teams towards the relegation zone in the first international window of the campaign.

The match could be seen as a kick start for either team, with Forest facing Aston Villa and Wolves in the two following games, two other teams who are in the lower half of the table. Before tough tests against high flying Brighton, Liverpool and current league leaders Arsenal.
