Nottingham Forest star Jesse Lingard has been praised for his appearance on a new Channel 4 show.
The former Man United forward appeared on Trainspotting with Francis Bourgeois, a programme with TikTok and train enthusiast Bourgeois where he invites famous faces to turn their hand to his favourite hobby with him.
Bourgeois, who has risen to fame online in recent years after GoPro recordings of his emotive reactions when out trainspotting went viral, welcomed Forest man Lingard in the latest episode. Things got emotional between the pair, with Bourgeois opening up on the abuse he has received.

"I've gone in here a bit because I’m well aware that there’s people in there that really don’t like me," he told Lingard as they moved to a quieter carriage on a train. "It’s something I find quite weird to think that in my own community are people that don’t like me the most."
When Lingard asked if Francis cares about being disliked, the trainspotter said: "I like to make everyone feel good so it’s a bit sort of disheartening sometimes. People just think I’m faking my enthusiasm."
The England star then comforted the TikTok talent, saying: "But that’s just you being you though. That’s how you are, that’s you."
As the pair get off the train, a number of fans lean out of the windows to show Bourgeois their admiration and support. Lingard embraces a tearful Bourgeois and responds by saying: "I told you, they love you mate."
