Nottingham Forest’s transfer window extended into February with the arrival of free agent Andre Ayew making 29 signings since their elevation to the Premier League.
Six of those came in the January window, with Felipe, Jonjo Shelvey and Keylor Navas arriving on deadline day. And even before the arrival of 33-year-old Ayew, Forest fans had declared themselves pretty pleased with the club’s transfer business.
Asked by NottinghamshireLive to rate the January window anywhere between rubbish and excellent, the majority of Forest fans plumped for excellent. In numerical terms, it equated to 8.2 out of 10 for the club’s transfer dealings.
