Cremonese left-back Emanuele Valeri's agent Pietro Parente says he is "ready for a further step forward" after being linked with Nottingham Forest.
The Reds are reportedly linked with 'launching an attack' to sign the 23-year-old once the January transfer window re-opens. Valeri has reportedly caught the eye at Forest with his stand out performance against Atalanta earlier this month.
Rising through the divisions in Italy, while representing Lecce and Cesena, he contributed with an impressive 14 goals and 23 assists. With his contract set to expire next summer, top-flight sides such as Lazio and Milan have already expressed an interest in the player.

Speaking about his client's rise and recent interest from the Italian giants, Parente told TuttoMercato in an interview: "Yes, it is true, I confirm that they are clubs that have probed his profile. After all, he also showed that he is ready for a further step forward, that he is also ready for the so-called big [clubs], not only on a technical level but also on a personality level."
Asked about whether there was a possibility he could join another club in the transfer window, Parente added: "The boy is only focused on Cremonese and on salvation which is the first goal of the club, then we’ll see about the future.
"Obviously, the goal is to grow more and more, and if it were not, hunger must always be there, if one day the possibility arises, we will exploit it. But it’s not time to talk about it."
