With just four games until the end of the season, it is unclear whether Danilo will be fit for the remaining two. Here's how the Forest faithful responded to the news on social media...

TM2204: "Sick to death of the amount of injures we are picking up week after week, hamstrings, fractures (two), muscle strains. We cannot seem to catch a break. All we need now if for Jonno to be out for a few games as well, 4 huge vital games left and Danilo has started to come on really strong with 2 goals in 2 games and some excellent performances and now he's out as well! Never heard of as club suffering so many injuries over such a sustained period of time."

PAW: "Could be a big blow as he looks to have found some form. Haven't Forest had more than their fair share of hamstring injuries this season?"

Leenit: "Danilo out for the next 2 games. Which means he’s either back for Arsenal or back 2026."

LisaForestFan: "Seeing reports Danilo is out for 2 games. Knowing how this season has gone with injuries, he won’t be available again this season."

Lewis Hall: "Definitely not ideal but at least it isn't added to our massive list of season ending injuries, and also sometimes Cooper has surprised us with early injury returns."

Noggs: "We're finished."

JS: "See you next season, mate."

Mark Poyser: "I've missed the Championship anyway."

Joseph Noon: "Great, just hit great form as well."

Bones: "As expected then. 2 games? So that either means he will appear for Southampton next game or his season is over."

Jonny Antcliffe: "You just know Danilo is gonna be done for the season, don't ya?"
