Nottingham Forest academy graduate Arvin Appiah has earned a surprise loan move to Málaga.
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Forest, leaving for Spanish side UD Almería in an £8million move.
After some loan moves, Appiah flourished last season and was a regular for Almería as they stormed the second division and won promotion back to La Liga. He played 32 matches, though only scored once and assisted twice from the wing.

Despite playing regularly for them, he was unable to remain in their plans for top flight football and spent the first half of this season on loan at Tenerife in the Segunda División. There he made 11 appearances without scoring, though registered one assist. He has now switched to Málaga until the end of the season.
The former England youth international will now be playing for ex-West Brom boss Pepe Mel at Málaga. The club, who played in the Champions League quarter-finals just 10 years ago, are languishing 21st of 22 teams in the second division table.
