Here’s the latest Nottingham Forest news on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Hennessey addresses future
Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has vowed to "keep going as long as I can".
The goalkeeper, who turns 36 in January, has played just two games for the Reds this season after being stuck behind Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson in the pecking order.
Hennessey joined from Burnley in the summer on a two-year deal and, while he has not been playing much club football, has no plans to slow down any time soon. The Welsh goalkeeper is currently in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup and has been speaking about his future in a press conference.

Forest among favourites for signing
Nottingham Forest are among the favourites to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha in the January transfer window .
Zaha has scored six goals in 13 Premier League games this season, with Palace sitting 11th in the Premier League table. His form is catching the attention of teams ahead of the January window, but links to Forest may come as something of a surprise.
The winger is in form for a club above Forest in the table, and a club who have established themselves as a solid mid-table Premier League team. That is still yet to come for Forest , though there may be more room for growth under head coach Steve Cooper .
Guedioura opens up on transfer
Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Adlène Guedioura has revealed that he ‘tried everything’ to return to the club on a loan deal from Crystal Palace during his first season with the club.
The Algerian was a fan favourite at the City Ground after arriving from Wolves, initially on loan, in January 2012. The temporary deal was made permanent the following summer.
But the player was with Forest for just another year before Crystal Palace came calling, his performances earning interest from the Premier League club. He completed a move to Selhurst Park in the summer of 2013, but says it’s a move that he made reluctantly having failed to help Forest into the league themselves.
Forest offered £15m transfer
Nottingham Forest could be offered the chance to sign Everton centre-back Michael Keane in January, with the defender said to be available for as little as £15 million.
The former England defender has found game time hard to come by under Toffees’ boss Frank Lampard so far this season, despite injuries in the backline of the team. Keane has made just one league appearance, coming on as a second half substitute in the 1-1 draw with Brentford back in August.
The Manchester United academy graduate was one of many players linked with a move to the City Ground back in the summer as Steve Cooper looked to add Premier League experience to his squad. While a summer move never materialised, the Reds are said to have reignited their interest ahead of the January window.
