Nottingham Forest live Q&A - Cooper's selection dilemma, January transfers, Crystal Palace clash

Nottingham Forest will be aiming to finish on a strong note on Saturday, when they play their final game before the World Cup break.

Crystal Palace are the visitors to the City Ground, with the Reds buoyed by Wednesday night’s impressive Carabao Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur. And Steve Cooper’s side know a positive result this weekend could lift them off the foot of the table.

It means there is plenty to talk about in our weekly live webchat. Forest reporter Sarah Clapson will be in the hot seat from noon, answering questions and responding to comments.

Who caught your eye in the midweek win over Spurs? Who should keep their place in the team for Saturday’s match? Has Cooper found a way of getting the best out of Jesse Lingard? Are you confident the Reds can pull themselves up the table? What transfer business should they look to do in January?

The League Cup draw on Thursday night saw Forest drawn away to Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round. That match will be their first game back when the season resumes in December, followed by a trip to face Manchester United.

Cooper’s men have shown signs of progress in recent weeks, and they could make it four home league games unbeaten against Palace. They also take encouragement from the fact it remains incredibly tight at the bottom end of the Premier League table, with the gap to Aston Villa, in 13th, at five points.

You can have your say on the above topics and any others which spring to mind in our live Q&A. Submit any questions or comments in the comments section below.

Feel free to get them in early. You can then join the debate when Sarah’s webchat goes live at noon.
