Nottingham Forest suffered a bruising reality check on Sunday as they were humbled 5-0 by Arsenal.
Head coach Steve Cooper made clear afterwards that his team’s performance hurt even more than the miserable scoreline. The Reds, the Welshman admitted, fell well short in the capital, with a lack of fighting spirit a particular sore point.
On the back of that defeat, there is plenty to discuss in our weekly live webchat. Forest reporter Sarah Clapson will be in the hot seat from noon answering questions and responding to comments.

Having made positive strides in recent weeks, and having seen off Liverpool little more than a week earlier, the Reds’ display at the Emirates Stadium represented a backward step. There was none of the work ethic or intensity which had characterised that memorable 1-0 win at the City Ground.
With a couple of home league games coming up before the World Cup break, it is vital Cooper’s side mount a response, particularly as the Premier League table remains incredibly tight. They host Brentford on Saturday, followed by Crystal Palace a week later, and a Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur sandwiched between.
What did you make of Forest’s defeat to Arsenal? How many points do they need to pick up from the next two home games? Are you confident the Reds can pull themselves up the table? What business do they need to do in January?
You can have your say on the above topics and any others which spring to mind in our live Q&A. Submit any questions or comments in the comments section below.
Feel free to get them in early. You can then join the debate when Sarah’s webchat goes live at noon.
