Nottingham Forest are reportedly among several clubs interested in Everton forward Anthony Gordon.
The Reds added to their forward ranks on Friday as Newcastle striker Chris Wood arrived on loan, with an obligation to buy for £15m in the summer, if certain conditions are met. However, Steve Cooper ’s side have been linked with bringing in further reinforcements as Forest look to keep well clear of the relegation zone.
Gordon was a breakthrough star for Everton last term as he made 35 league appearances, with the 21-year-old’s performances reportedly prompting a £60m bid from Chelsea in the summer. Despite turning down a big-money offer for the academy graduate just a few months ago, Everton are claimed to have changed their stance on Gordon’s future at the club.
