Club president confirms 'offers' for defender amid Nottingham Forest links

Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Cebi has confirmed the club has received offers for Romain Saiss amid transfer links to Nottingham Forest.

The former Wolves defender has reportedly been on the Reds' radar for some time. Reports earlier this week claimed the club were preparing to make a £3.4million bid for his services.

But Forest aren't the only ones said to be interested in the Morocco international. Ligue 1 outfit Marseille have also been monitoring the player's situation.

Nottingham Forest could be dealt transfer blow for Serie A star as fresh claims emerge

Inter Milan star Robin Gosens could reportedly depart the club on loan this summer following interest from Nottingham Forest.

Earlier this week, reports claimed interest was hotting up for the 28-year-old, with Union Berlin, Bournemouth and Wolfsburg all keeping tabs with the player. Forest meanwhile, had emerged as the latest side to join the race.

It was also claimed that the player had "no preference" as to where his next club may be. According to Sky Sports Germany, Gosens is keen for a move to ensure he's a starter for Germany at the Euros next summer.

Nottingham Forest 'hold talks' over transfer for goalscoring midfielder

Nottingham Forest 'have held talks' over the signing of Red Star Belgrade midfielder Kings Kangwa, it is claimed.

The Zambian international scored in his country's African Cup of Nations qualifying win over Ivory Coast last week. Kangwa, who previously had a spell in Russia, joined Red Star in 2022.

Kangwa scored 12 goals in 45 appearances for the Serbian side last season as he helped them to emphatically win the league title with 97 points, 22 more than their nearest challengers. It means that they will be playing in the Champions League next season.

Nottingham Forest make 'enquiries' over Serie A forward

Nottingham Forest are reportedly still interested in Bologna forward Sydney van Hooijdonk.

The Reds have reportedly kept the 23-year-old on their radar after initial interest earlier this year. His father, Pierre van Hooijdonk, spent two seasons at the City Ground between 1997 and 1999 and helped the club return to the top-flight.

Van Hooijdonk Jr is claimed to have been scouted by Forest ahead of a potential summer move. According to Corriere Di Bologna (via Sport Witness), Forest have made official enquiries about the player "in the last few hours".

Remo Freuler and Emmanuel Dennis face uncertain futures at Nottingham Forest this summer as the club look to build for their second Premier League season.

Both players had good moments last term but they found themselves out of the side at the end of the campaign as the Reds avoided relegation with a game to spare.

Now Forest are aiming to strengthen in the transfer market, meaning the pair could move on. Speaking at Wednesday's Garibaldi Red podcast live show, former Forest striker Nigel Jemson said he felt Dennis does not fit in to the style of play under Steve Cooper.
