Nottingham Forest in transfer 'talks' over move for Everton forgotten man

Nottingham Forest are in "talks" over a move for Everton striker Moise Kean, according to a report in Italy.

Forest were linked with the forgotten forward earlier in the summer transfer window and, after a few weeks out of the picture, his name has resurfaced in connection with the Reds once more.

Kean is likely to make a move this summer despite being in the middle of a two-year loan move to Juventus. The Italian giants, who have an obligation to buy the striker, don't see him as part of their future plans and want to help him land a new club.

It was a poor showing in Serie A last season that sealed Kean's fate, with a future at Everton seemingly non-existent under the management of Frank Lampard. A number of clubs have been linked with his signature and Forest are among the latest to be named.

According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, "there are talks" with both Forest and OGC Nice over a potential transfer as both Everton and Juventus look to sort the striker's future. His agent Rafaela Pimenta has met with Juventus officials to discuss his client's prospects recently, suggesting things could soon move forward.

Kean scored just five goals in 32 league appearances for Juventus last season, though he netted 13 in 26 for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 the year before. That shows Kean can still perform at the highest level, which explains reports of Forest's interest.
