Former Nottingham Forest centre-forward Robert Earnshaw has urged the club to give head coach Steve Cooper "time and support" after their 4-0 loss to Leicester City.
Defeat in the East Midlands derby saw the Reds leapfrogged in the Premier League table by their opponents and drop to the bottom of the division as a result. The days since have seen Cooper come under pressure, with his position at the City Ground in some doubt after a run of five successive losses.
A number of names have already been linked with replacing the still in situ boss, including out-of-work options in Sean Dyche, Rafa Benítez and recently-sacked Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Bruno Lage. There has been a groundswell of support from Forest fans in response, and former players have also been public in their backing.

One of which is self-described 'media personality' Earnshaw, who has stressed that "patience is key" for his former team to do well. "I feel Nottingham Forest should give head coach Steve Cooper time and support," he tweeted.
"It’s important to remember that all new squads and signings need a few months to settle and start to work as a team . I want to see my former team Forest do well, and patience is key."
What do you make of Earnshaw's opinion? Have your say in the comments...
