Nottingham Forest have reportedly seen a bid rejected for Braga goalkeeper Matheus.
According to Sport Italia, the Reds saw their offer of £6m knocked back as they look to reinforce their goalkeeping options ahead of the new season.
It is claimed that Braga want more money before they consider letting Matheus leave the club and it remains to be seen whether they will return with another offer.

Matheus has spent nine years at Braga having signed from Brazilian side America-MG. He has subsequently made 293 appearances for the Portuguese outfit, keeping 98 clean sheets in the process.
Forest want to sign United goalkeeper Dean Henderson as their number one for next season but the move is currently in stasis as United need to sign another goalkeeper before they part company.
United have been linked with a move for Inter Milan stopper Andre Onana but their opening bid of £38.5m did not meet the valaution of the player.
Inter value him at £51m and the two clubs are said to be working towards a compromise. But until that matter is cleared up, Henderson still remains at Old Trafford.
Matheus would not be seen as a first-choice option but to compete with Wayne Hennessey for the number two position.
