Nottingham Forest fans say the same thing about Lyle Taylor after play-off boost

Nottingham Forest fans have given their reaction to loanee Lyle Taylor’s latest goal for Birmingham City as he scored again from the penalty spot.

The Forest striker swapped the City Ground for St Andrew’s during the January transfer window, joining the Blues on loan until the end of the season. And he has quickly made an impact on his new team.

The 31-year-old bagged what turned out to be the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon, scoring from the spot to earn Birmingham all three points. It’s the striker’s fourth goal in nine appearances for the club.

The goal didn’t only benefit Birmingham though, with the winning strike ensuring that Forest keep an eight-point gap to the Baggies as the race for the play-off places hot up. Forest currently sit in seventh place in the table, one point outside of the top six, with West Brom down in 12th and seemingly now out of the race.

Following Taylor’s winning goal, Forest fans shared their thoughts on social media. Here is what they had to say about the loanee.

Matthew Skinner : Agent Taylor has scored against West Brom. They won’t be troubling us now, season over for them. #NFFC

Kaine Barr : Taylor’s penalty taking is something else. #bcfc #WBAfc

Forest_Cambridger_Jim : Agent Taylor and West Brom Zero shots on target... oops.

Jamie Spires : Agent Lyle strikes again!

Nffc Owen : Go on Lyle.

Forestaremagic_ : Love you Lyle. #bcfc #nffc

Forest are next in action on Saturday when they take on Taylor’s Birmingham City. However, the striker will not be eligible to feature against his parent club, more good news for Reds supporters.
