Nottingham Forest fans have hailed Brennan Johnson after he was voted as the player of the fourth round in the FA Cup.
The academy graduate was one of the standout players in the memorable 4-1 win over Leicester City at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Phillip Zinckernagel, Johnson, and Joe Worrall in nine first-half minutes put Forest in control of the game at half time with a 3-1 lead.
Full-back Djed Spence got the fourth in the second half as Steve Cooper’s men knocked out the holders to cruise into the fifth round where they will face Huddersfield Town.
Johnson had been the subject of Premier League interest during the January transfer window with Forest knocking back bids from Brentford.
The 20-year-old has impressed with his performances this season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in the Championship.
And his performance against the Foxes at the weekend has now been recognised with the youngster being voted as player of fourth round in the FA Cup.

Johnson will be hoping to continue to impress in the second half of the season, starting with the Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night.
