Nottingham Forest fans have weighed in on the current plight of their greatest rivals, Derby County. The Rams face an uncertain future with doubt now surrounding a takeover deal by the club's prospective new owner Chris Kirchner.
The American had little to say when asked for an update on the takeover at a golf event in Hertfordshire on Wednesday, only saying "no comment" and "it will come out soon" when pressed for an update.
The club will be playing their football in England's third tier from next season after points deductions meant that survival in the Championship last season was almost impossible. And with doubts over the club's new owner, their future is shrouded in uncertainty.

Here's what Reds fans have said...
Micky175: I sincerely hope you get this bloke as your new owner. 1) because you lot will dislike him intensely from the kick off. 2) because You will hound him at every decision that you disagree with because of his unreliability 3) because he’s not going to take you lot anywhere other than keep you in league one 4) because he’s going to keep generating comedy gold for the rest of us.
Maisie123456: Just saw that the EFL are preparing 3 fixture lists, 1 with Derby In league 1, 1 with Derby in league 2, and 1 with Derby in league 3. You couldn’t have planned it any better Mr Clough
Forest 19: You talking about not so proud park
HelenT: I think you can now safely say he won’t be your new owner.

CloughTown1980: Mr Kirchner, Derby County as a club need your help, your clubs fans who you have said you want to bring the good times back to their club needs to see you working towards that aim. Buy the club now or go back to the states and let someone else step in and save the club. Derby County Footballing wise is a name far more well known than you and no one man or woman is bigger than a football club. Always has been always will be.
