Nottingham Forest are understood to be keen for Billy Fewster to sign a new contract, but the central midfielder is not short of Premier League suitors.
Fewster is into the final six months of his contract having made his first team debut in the FA Cup defeat to Blackpool.
Premier League clubs were already monitoring the 19-year-old and would be keen to take him if a deal with Forest is not agreed, with up to five top flight clubs said to he scouting him. The Reds' history of bringing through players weighs in their favour, but increased competition for places following promotion could make a club with an easier pathway to the first team a serious contender for his signature.
