Nottingham Forest 'make offer' for midfielder eyed by Liverpool and Arsenal
Nottingham Forest have reportedly made an offer to PSV Eindhoven for their midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.
The 25-year-old was the subject of interest from Forest last summer, but instead signed a new five-year contract with the Dutch club. However, the Reds appear to have now reignited their interest with a bid for the 25-year-old, who could become the first signing of the transfer window.
Forest face PSV in a pre-season friendly on July 30 but by all accounts the Reds may well be hoping Sangare is their player before that date comes around. For now, though, the ball looks to be in PSV's court.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly sent a 'formal proposal' to former Chelsea and Arsenal forward Willian.
The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Premier League rivals Fulham upon the expiry of his contract last season. He featured 25 times in the Premier League for them but is now on the search for a new club.
He is said to have an offer on the table from Fulham, while clubs in Saudi Arabia are also "approaching" him over a potential move to the Middle East. That's according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has broken the news of interest from Forest.
Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo charged with hundreds of FA betting rules breaches
Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo has been charged by the Football Association. with a number of betting breaches.
"Nottingham Forest's Harry Toffolo has been charged with misconduct in relation to our betting rules," a statement from an FA spokesperson, shared on social media, read. It specifies that the alleged offences took place before he was signed by the Premier League club.
"It's alleged that the defender breached FA Rule E1 (b) 375 times between 22 January 2014 and 18 March 2017," the statement continues. "Harry Toffolo has until Wednesday 19 July 2023 to provide his response."
Keylor Navas transfer claim as Nottingham Forest 'interested' in permanent deal
Keylor Navas has been linked with a return to Nottingham Forest this summer amid the Reds' search for a new goalkeeper.
The Costa Rican arrived at the City Ground from Paris Saint-Germain in January after another on-loan shot-stopper, Dean Henderson, picked up what turned out to be a season-ending injury.
Navas played a key role in the Reds' successful survival bid this season. Steve Cooper's side secured their Premier League status for another campaign with a game to spare in 2022/23.
