Nottingham Forest youngster Fin Back has joined Carlisle United on loan.
The teenager will spend the coming season with the League Two side as he looks to continue his development and get valuable experience. It will be his first spell away from the City Ground, having been at the club since 2011.
Back was among the Under-23s players who often trained with the first-team last term. And he joined Steve Cooper’s group on their pre-season training camp in Spain last week.

He came off the bench in Forest’s opening two summer friendlies, against Coventry City and Burton Albion. The aim now will be to get more minutes in senior football at Brunton Park.
The 19-year-old got a taste of that last season in the Garibaldi. He was handed his debut by then-manager Chris Hughton in the Carabao Cup victory over Bradford City last August.
The Reds were short of right-back options early on in the campaign, and Back went on to feature against Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City in the league, followed by another run-out in the cup, against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Cooper called upon him to play in the Boxing Day defeat at Middlesbrough, when Djed Spence was ineligible to play against his parent club. Back was primarily a key player for the Under-23s, however, helping them reach the semi-finals of the Premier League 2 Division 2 play-offs with five assists in 17 appearances.
Carlisle boss Paul Simpson has been targeting defensive additions. Forest said: “We wish Fin all the very best for his spell at Brunton Park.”
Forest have made six signings so far, but they have also overseen a number of departures. Back is one of a few young players to have secured loan moves, with Jonathan Panzo, Tyrese Fornah and Will Swan having recently headed elsewhere.
