Rangers are "in conversation" with Nottingham Forest defender Jonathan Panzo, it is claimed.
The Scottish giants have been heavily linked with a move for the 22--year-old. Reports have previously claimed that advanced negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs, with the fee said to be around £2.5million.
Panzo spent last season on loan with Championship play-off finalists Coventry City where he made 32 appearances. The centre-back arrived at the City Ground from Dijon in January 2022.
And transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Panzo's future. He claims that a move to Ibrox is still in the works.

"Yeah, Rangers still want Jonathan Panzo. They are in conversation with the player side, so there is a concrete possibility,” he told GIVEMESPORT.
It has also been reported that the Scottish side will face competition for Panzo's signature. Fabrizio Romano has previously said there are other clubs in Germany and in England who are "keen" to sign the defender.
Panzo has made just one first team appearance for the Reds, playing in last season’s 1-1 Championship draw with Hull City on the final day of the normal season. He was left out of the squad entirely for the successful play-off campaign.
